Exterior check - coating thickness measurement
If you would like to know whether your vehicle has had an accident or has been painted from the outside, our team of experts will be happy to check your car for you. The coating thickness of the paint surface is measured with the certified measuring device of QNix® 1500.
- Paint measurement on NFe for example on aluminium bonnet, fender or trunk lid
- Paint measurement on Fe, for example on steel surfaces on the bodywork, side panels or add-on parts such as doors
- Check the gap dimensions of the attachments
- Measure paint surfaces at different points and compare with factory specifications
- all common vehicle manufacturers
Measurements of layer thicknesses are possible up to 5 mm on Fe and NFe substrates.
Measurement on plastic parts such as bumpers or side skirts is not possible.
On request and surcharge further measures for the examination can take place.
