Retrofit: 360° camera for Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-door (X290)
The 360° camera uses 4 networked cameras to produce a realistic picture of the vehicle and the vehicle environment from a bird's eye view. This image is displayed with high quality in the media display of the multimedia system. Depending on the situation, different views can be selected to assist the driver in parking and manoeuvring. Obstacles below the window edge - for example curbstones - can also be displayed. When parking in reverse, help lines are displayed for better orientation. The virtual vantage point calculated from the camera images covers an area of about 3 m around the vehicle.
