Retrofit: Manual flap control for C43 or C63 AMG (Type 205)

Manual flap control enables you to open/close the actuators on the rear silencer, e.g. on the C43 or C63 AMG with AMG performance exhaust system (Code U78), yourself at any time. The operation is carried out via a high-quality handheld transmitter by radio and the following three start profiles can be saved.

1. profile = exhaust gas flaps fully open - increased volume
2. profile = exhaust flaps completely closed - reduced volume
3rd profile = serial condition (only for C43 or C63 AMG)

The start mode can be set in a few seconds on the handheld transmitter.

The compatibility must be checked beforehand.
A switchable exhaust system with Mercedes-Benz exhaust flaps is required for manual control. If you are retrofitting the C-Class, then order "Wiring kit for retrofitting". In activated profile 1 or 2, operation via the switch block is not possible in the C43 or C63 AMG.
The control unit is not street legal, as it influences the original volume of the vehicle.
