The AMG steering wheel buttons give your steering wheel a radically sporty look: they allow you to operate specific dynamic driving functions quickly and accurately. For a focused, concentrated and performance-oriented driving experience - and for an authentic racing car atmosphere in the cockpit.
The AMG performance steering wheels with AMG steering wheel buttons are reminiscent of Formula 1 steering wheels in their operation and characteristics for good reason: thanks to the ergonomic positioning of the additional steering wheel buttons in the direct grip area, the hands remain constantly on the steering wheel - thanks to the intuitively understandable functionality, the driver's gaze remains constantly on the road. Ideal conditions for challenging driving situations that require your full attention.
The individual steering wheel buttons are designed as modern mini-displays. Pictograms on the buttons illustrate the AMG-specific function that can be called up at any given time.
Two vertically positioned function displays on the left with touch switch; their functionality can be freely assigned to AMG functions, for example
- Direct selection of the manual mode
- Adjustment of the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension
- Activation/deactivation of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®)
- Switching the AMG performance exhaust system (optional)

For vehicles with steering wheel heating (code LH1) there are some restrictions.
An AMG steering wheel, for example with code L6H, is required. The AMG performance steering wheel is not included in the scope of delivery.
Programming work must be carried out after installation. If you order the article "with installation", the necessary coding is carried out during the conversion.
