Retrofit: Manual flap control for E63 AMG (W213)
Manual flap control enables you to open/close the actuators on the E63 rear silencer with AMG performance exhaust system (Code U78) yourself at any time. The operation is carried out via a high-quality handheld transmitter by radio and the following three start profiles can be stored.
- 1. profile = exhaust gas flaps fully open - increased volume
- 2. profile = exhaust flaps completely closed - reduced volume
- 3. profile = serial condition
The start mode can be set in a few seconds on the handheld transmitter.

The compatibility must be checked beforehand.
A switchable exhaust system with Mercedes-Benz exhaust flaps is required for manual control. If you are retrofitting the E43, then order "cable set for retrofitting": In the activated profile 1 or 2, operation via the switch block is not possible with the E63 AMG.
The control unit is not street legal, as it influences the original volume of the vehicle.
