Retrofit: Manual flap control for AMG GT (Type 190)
Manual flap control enables you to open/close the actuators on the rear silencer, e.g. on the AMG GT Coupé or the AMG GT Cabrio with AMG performance exhaust system (Code U78), yourself at any time. The operation is carried out via a high-quality handheld transmitter by radio and the following three start profiles can be stored.
- 1. profile = exhaust gas flaps fully open - increased volume
- 2. profile = exhaust flaps completely closed - reduced volume
- 3. profile = serial condition
The start mode can be set in a few seconds on the handheld transmitter.

The compatibility must be checked beforehand.
A switchable exhaust system with Mercedes-Benz exhaust flaps is required for manual control.
In activated profile 1 or 2, operation via the switch block is not possible.
The control unit is not street legal, as it influences the original volume of the vehicle.
