The SCHAWE Carbon steering wheel is offered without airbag.
If an older AMG model is to be converted to the Facelift steering wheel, then a CAN gateway is required for an additional charge. The CAN gateway adapts the CAN messages from the facelift steering wheel to the vehicle on LIN-BUS. The cruise control or the Distronic function of the Facelift steering wheel is not supported in older vehicles and must still be operated using the selector lever. The CAN gateway cannot adapt this function.
