In our manufactory we transform every standard leather steering wheel into an exclusive one-off piece tailored to your wishes. Noble carbon surfaces in matt or with a fine clear varnish coating, different carbon structures, individual colouring of the steering wheel buttons, a variety of leather types for the steering wheel rim or back as well as the airbag round off the refinement programme together with additional individualised add-on parts such as gearshift paddles or covers in carbon. Of course, all SCHAWE carbon steering wheels retain their multifunctionality, shift paddles and steering wheel heating. Our focus is always on your wishes, no matter how exclusive or individual they may be! The SCHAWE emblem is a symbol of quality and confirms the uniqueness and excellent craftsmanship of each individual carbon steering wheel.

Our work steps in detail
Remove steering wheel, disassemble & remove leather cover
Re-divide the steering wheel rim and bring it into the desired shape
Coating of surfaces e.g. in carbon (there are different carbon structures to choose from)
Carbon surfaces in clear varnish matt or glossy paint
additional add-on parts such as gearshift paddles or covers in carbon coating
Steering wheel buttons in the desired colour, e.g. black matt paint and new engraving
Recover the steering wheel rim, steering wheel backrest and airbag e.g. in leather or Alcantara (there are many possibilities e.g. perforated or different types of leather)
